8 Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description Job Overview This role will assist in driving patient ecosystem data sales by providing subject matter expertise to IQVIA's sales teams and IQVIA's customers.
The patient ecosystem product specialist will be responsible for bringing together the optimal mix of patient data assets and related capabilities to address complex business problems.
Furthermore, the product specialist will be responsible for leveraging their combined knowledge of market, competitor, and customer needs to inform IQVIA's overall ecosystem roadmap and fine tune messaging to align to these dynamics.
Finally, as the patient data subject matter expert, the product specialist will be a critical contributor to IQVIA's internal and external patient data training curriculum.
Essential Functions Serve as a subject matter expert of IQVIA's entire patient data portfolio and related offerings Partner with IQVIA sales and go to market teams to be customer-facing patient data expert for supporting customer questions, opportunities, RFPs, and competitive displacements Leverage knowledge of broader information solutions capabilities and solutions to identify cross-selling opportunities Consult and partner with IQVIA customers to assemble optimal combinations of patient data assets and related information capabilities to address complex business questions Drive solution design and scoping as needed for RFIs / RFPs and non-competitive bidding opportunities Scope and define complex IQVIA proof of concepts and analyses to validate proposed capabilities and solutions Contribute to the development and maintenance of IQVIA's patient data training curriculum for use in initial training rollout and new hires Partner with IQVIA product management to adapt internal patient data training materials to customer-facing training Partner with IQVIA product management to act as the voice of the customer to inform overall product roadmap to ensure it addresses market needs and trends Gather market/customer intelligence and partner with patient ecosystem leader to create and fine tune messaging that sufficiently addresses competitive threats in the market Qualifications 5
years pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience in sales or sales support role Relevant healthcare degree (public health, healthcare MBA, healthcare management / administration, pharma marketing or analytics) Strong organizational, planning, project management skills Excellent Business/Industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data Ability to maintain demanding timelines Ability to influence others internally and externally Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities IQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
