POSITION
Summary:
Under general direction of the Sr Director - Business System Solution Delivery, this position is primarily responsible for providing non-SAP application architecture, vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving. This individual anticipates technology industry direction and relates to future architecture needs and projects. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: documenting the application architecture; ensuring that all projects are adhering to relative SDLC standards; interfacing across several technical and business areas; acting as a visionary regarding infrastructure issues; acting as a sounding board or consultant to aid in the development of creative solutions as delivering tactical business activities and solutions; providing technical and architectural direction to the development team(s). This position may be called upon to provide any level of project management for single or multiple projects within Information Technology.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Overall leadership responsibility for the technology architecture, design, delivery and support of custom applications and packaged solutions. Strong technical knowledge required.
Responsible for multiple business facing application development teams devoted to ABC Drug Company solutions.
Manages a team of direct reports (technical architects and developers) as well as indirectly leads an offshore team provided by strategic outsourcing partners.
Oversees all application development projects within the applications and architecture domain in partnership with ABC's system integrator(s) with both onshore and offshore resources.
Manages on-call rotation for production support and maintenance activities of applications owned.
Acts as 2ndlevel escalation for highly impactful production issues.
Cultivates and maintains an on-going partnership with executive business owners, maintaining knowledge of business operations, strategies, information requirements, and priorities.
Develop the plans and builds the post-implementation Center of Excellence (offshore/onshore, associate/outsource partner) for the Applications Development area.
Works across the technology and business functions to seamlessly integrate solutions that meet and enable business priorities.
In alignment with the Company's growth and direction, provides overall financial direction in order to manage the development of budgets, controls and measurements to monitor progress.
Responsible for all associate relations functions for department staff including hiring, terminating, performance management, development and training
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in
computer
Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent with an IT focus is preferred. Normally requires a minimum of fifteen (15) years directly related and progressively responsible experience in leading applications architecture design and implementation preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms with at least ten (10) years managing projects.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Prior experience managing ABC Drug Company applications is required.
Specific experience with StreamServe and Vendavo technologies is preferred.
Understanding of technology directions, trends and strategic business impact on key client initiatives
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly-complex environment using leading-edge technology
Outstanding ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; ability to communicate with customers, associates and management; solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to establish solid relationships with vendors in support of initiatives; ability to negotiate and manage outside vendors and strategic partners against deliverables
Good business planning, analytical, and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
Solid project management skills including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment
Job: Information TechnologyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
