Opportunity:
Sungard Availability Services is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and experienced leader for our Demand Generation team. As Director of Marketing Programs, your primary responsibilities will be to drive pipeline growth by developing and executing outbound email-based programs that will maximize potential selling opportunities, both within Sungard AS' target market of prospective customers and our existing base of customers.The focus of the role will be on developing high-quality marketing-qualified leads and opportunities for Sales.

Responsibilities:
Strategy and Management - Development and execution of overall integrated program/campaign plans to directly contribute to pipeline and revenue objectives.
Develop and lead cross-functional teams as part of the program planning process, collaborating with product marketing, tele-programs, digital marketing, sales, and other counterparts.
Determine the optimal marketing mix of email nurtures, content syndication, and other programs/activities to achieve critical business priorities (installed base vs. net-new, vertical segment, geographical, or account based).
Segment strategies by persona, and oversee strategy execution.
Lead Generation and Nurturing Program Management - Formulate and execute integrated, strategically-focused marketing programs including new customer acquisition and existing base retention. Nurture prospects - both existing base and net-new - with the primary mission of providing Sales with qualified sales opportunities.
Manage the entire lifecycle of marketing program strategy and execution, including determining appropriate marketing mix to best suit marketing strategies, designing concepts, message creation, developing target lists, project management (managing production/implementation), and program analysis/measurement.
Analyze market research such as competitor analyses, segmentation, new market trends, etc., to determine marketing program strategies
Identify buyer persona and/or segment-specific attributes such as demographics, organization profile, buying behavior, need, urgency, beliefs, etc. for targeted campaigns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive consensus, incorporate ideas, and obtain buy-in on programs
Create and maintain campaign briefs that can be shared with all stakeholders, summarizing objectives, strategy, audience, key messages, key offers/assets, and timing
Work with key stakeholders across the organization to provide training, communications and other support tools to ensure the effective launch of the marketing programs into the sales channel
Maintain complete transparency by ensuring all campaigns and results are appropriately tagged in and Marketo systems
Work closely with Tele-programs and Commercial Sales to ensure effective follow-up of marketing programs and tracking of opportunities.
Calls to Action/Content Creation - work with the content and product marketing teams to develop content to feed the lead generation engine / calendar
Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to develop a cohesive messaging strategy for all stages of the buying cycle
Collaborate with product marketing to develop new offers required to support programs and campaigns targeting existing customer base.
Leverage Marketo, and third party tools to understand customer/prospect behaviors and develop campaigns that are tailored to their needs at each stage
Maintain a library of campaign assets (briefs, content, creative, messages, tools) that can be easily accessed by all stakeholders.
Email Marketing - manage all aspects of email campaign execution including email strategy formulation, campaign definition, design, deliverability testing and campaign analysis
Measure and report on email marketing campaign results and compare against client and industry benchmarks
Develop expertise in the Marketo platform, understanding and leveraging the full features and functionality.
Create and execute email test plans for ensuring continual optimization of creative and offers.
Program Analysis, reporting and Optimization - measure marketing programs effectiveness and monitor campaign execution against KPIs, including analyzing and reporting on lead generation results and adjust programs accordingly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Communications (MBA a plus), or related degree.
7-12 years business experience with 5+ years in demand generation / B2B marketing or equivalent experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of traditional marketing, advertising, direct and digital marketing in B2B environments.
Project management skills and prior experience managing campaign execution from planning through to implementation, measurement and analysis.
Ability to analyze unique customer/segment situations and apply strategic marketing ideas and implementation plan to meet those challenges.
Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing tools and their role in marketing mix.
Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects and programs to completion.
Metrics driven and results oriented with demonstrated analytical skills.
Ability to learn quickly, synthesize and take action based on learnings.
Ability to communicate both the value and benefit of overall and specific marketing vehicles and be able to measure results of efforts.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, detail orientation.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written required.
Creative writing skills are a must with the ability to develop and test subject lines, body copy, etc.
Understanding or previous experience with Salesforce and Marketo a definite plus.
Experience with Marketo. Setting up email segmentation, personalization/dynamic content, opt in/out procedures, emails (using Marketo templates and HTML coded), mass email distribution, lead scoring & nurturing, analytics.
Basic HTML experience desired.
Marketing experience with - creating campaigns, segmentation of database, list creation, mass email, document management.
Ability to meet tight deadlines (ability to work under deadline pressure) and multi-task.
Knowledge of Managed IT services, cloud computing companies, and disaster recovery services a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
