Our client, a growing software company in Wayne, is seeking a strong IT Recruiter. The IT Recruiter will provide sourcing strategies for positions within the information technology field. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 3 plus years of IT recruiting and/or sourcing experience, either in a corporate or agency environment. This is a 3-6 month contract role with the potential to become a permanent position.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for full-cycle recruitment practices for positions within the information technology field. This requires knowledge of various sourcing methods (e.g. LinkedIn, Job Boards, Universities, Societies/Associations, Agencies, etc.) and ability to customize your approach
Participate in multi-phase interview process, both phone and in-person interviews. Conduct whole-person interviews
You will be the primary point of contact throughout the entire process including host for onsite interviews. Your goal is to provide a great experience for every candidate through all points of contact: company website, LinkedIn careers, email correspondence, in-person, etc.
You will be the primary coordinator for all scheduling and communication with candidates. Likewise, you will manage internal communication

Qualifications:

3-5 years recruiting experience with a focus on IT professionals
Bachelor's Degree required
Ability to conduct whole-person assessment; assess each candidate as an individual
Ability to develop keen insights into candidates' motivations, values, and their ability to develop deep and positive relationships with others
Desire to be a part of a team and ability to assess the same in candidates
Detail and process-oriented; ability to manage multiple projects at once
Self-starter with ability to prioritize
Highly proficient in internet sourcing
Highly proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter
Experience with application tracking systems


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
