Position Overview:

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for owning projects and events while handling all administrative tasks to support the marketing department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-tsk and manage multiple projects with deadlines. The candidate will also be comfortable working with management frequently and owning management level projects on a short timeline. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, highly organized, multi-task oriented with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:
Assist with maintaining and measuring digital marketing programs tactics, including: SEO, PPC, and Social Media
Create and execute social media marketing plans (plan, outreach and follow through)
Manage and update information and engage with users on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
Assist with creating marketing automation programs for new product roll-outs
Tasks Include:
Create and schedule social media posts
Working with third-party digital media strategist to maintain up to date digital marketing programs
Create automated email marketing platforms
Content Marketing:
Assist with the design, plan and monitoring of product marketing campaigns
Prepare, supervise, organize and own the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs
Identify and create marketing value adds and final videos/presentations based on different media
Responsible for filing and tracking all new product test results and updating product brochures with up-to-date data and testing from the Technology Lab.
Responsible for rolling out any materials or material updates to the sales team and making sure they are aware of changes
Maintain and update information on the organizations website
Tasks Include:
Work with third-party designers to create and update brochures, advertisements and website graphics
Maintain historical product data file
Update product brochures to reflect the most recent data
Sync updated brochures to website
Roll-out updated brochures to sales team
Public Relations/Advertising:
Responsible for media calendars
Track events, sponsorships, advertisements and budgets
Maintain list of award opportunities for all products
Assist with developing and implementing public relations strategies
Write and edit in-house case studies and presentations
Own and organize events including award shows, trade shows and sponsorships
Lead event planning calls with attendees and confirm attendance
Confirm marketing opportunities
Schedule and confirm marketing materials to be sent
Assist with daily operation on the marketing group, ensuring smooth and efficient work flow.
Tasks Include:
Organize, update and format all internal and external facing marketing collateral, including: PowerPoints, spreadsheets, etc.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications preferred
1-2 years of experience or relevant internships in undergrad
Demonstrated success working in a team environment
Familiarity with digital marketing programs, including SEO, PPC and Social Medias
Strong organizational skills, time & task management, initiative, and a sense of urgency
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
